Happy March and Happy Friday to you all! I am excited that Spring is on it’s way and can’t wait for warmer, longer days. Certain songs give me that happy, Springy feeling and this band certainly has a few songs that fit that category for me. Icelandic Of Monsters and Men is a fairly new band and this song is my current favorite off their album “Little Talks”.

Happy Friday everyone! As many of you know, the BRIT Awards were held a few nights ago in fancy London Town. There were lots of amazing performances by artists such as Ben Howard (swoon), Taylor Swift, Muse, Robbie Williams, and One Direction, to name a few. The performance that floored me, however, was Mumford and Sons singing ‘I Will Wait’. It was exhilarating and electric, and I have come to expect nothing less than incredible from these boys who went home with the award for favorite British Group that night. Which they very much deserved, in my opinion!

Hello world and happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day yesterday and got some good lovin’. In honor of the big holiday, I thought we could kick the weekend off with a classic 80’s love song. I don’t know about you but I can’t help turning the radio up and singing along when I hear this little gem. And, it’s from one of the best movies of all time – Back To The Future. Nothing says “I love you” like Huey Lewis & The News, “The Power of Love”!
With Memorial Day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear to the annual BBQ! I will unfortunately be working this Memorial Day – sitting at my desk dreaming of running through a sprinkler in someone’s backyard, the faint scent of hots dogs coming from the grill, and some groovy summertime tunes blasting from a boom box nearby. Until my boss comes around and tells me to snap out of it. But don’t let me get you down! I hope you have a fun day in the sun planned. Here are some items I’ll be dreaming of wearing this Memorial Day.
